Labour Hire
Our labour hire model allows employers to access work-ready candidates through Reboot Australia, while we remain the employer of record. This gives businesses a practical, lower-risk way to bring someone on, assess fit on the job, and access ongoing support throughout the placement. It also gives candidates the chance to build confidence, re-establish routine, and prove themselves in a real workplace environment. Labour hire is often the best option for employers who want flexibility, need staff quickly, or are open to second chance hiring but want the right support around the process.
What’s Included
- Candidate screening and preparation -We take the time to understand each candidate's background, experience, goals, barriers and work readiness. That means employers are not just getting a name on a page, they are getting someone who has been properly assessed and prepared.
- Role matching based on skill and fit -We match candidates to roles based on more than availability. We look at work history, transferable skills, site requirements, confidence, transport, stability, cultural fit and the level of support needed for success.
- Employer of record arrangement -Under the labour hire model, Reboot employs the worker and places them into the host business. This gives employers a lower-risk entry point and allows us to stay closely involved during the transition into work.
- Ongoing mentoring and throughcare support -Every placement is backed by support, not just at the point of hire, but after the candidate starts. Our team stays involved to help navigate early challenges, support communication, build confidence and improve retention.
- Support for the employer as well as the candidate -We do not just support the worker. We support the host employer too. That can include guidance around communication, expectations, boundaries, performance conversations, disclosure questions and how to respond if issues arise.
- Try before you commit -For many employers, labour hire provides a practical pathway to permanent employment. It gives both the employer and worker the chance to assess fit before making a long-term commitment.

Permanent Recruitment
Our permanent recruitment service connects employers directly with justice-affected candidates who are ready for direct employment. This is suited to businesses that want to hire someone into their own workforce from the outset, while still benefiting from Reboot’s candidate screening, matching and support. We understand that direct employment can feel like a big step for some employers. That is why our process focuses on fit, readiness and practical support, not just filling a vacancy.
What’s Included
- Sourcing candidates with genuine intent to work -We work with candidates who are actively looking for an opportunity and who want more than just a job -they want stability, progress and a real chance to move forward.
- Pre-screening and readiness assessment -We assess work history, skills, tickets, licences, transport, presentation, communication, confidence, barriers to employment and likely support needs before introducing a candidate.
- Shortlisting and employer matching -We present candidates who align with the role and workplace environment, rather than sending through a high volume of unsuitable applicants.
- Support through the hiring process -We can assist with introductions, interview preparation, employer communication and setting clear expectations on both sides.
- Post-placement follow up -Our involvement does not stop once a candidate is placed. We continue to check in with both the worker and employer to support a strong start and better retention.
