We're on the lookout for a reliable Trade Assistant to join a FIFO team operating out of Western Australia. You'll be working alongside skilled tradespersons on a casual basis, supporting the crew with preparation, material handling, equipment maintenance, and general labouring duties. Keeping the site clean, organised, and safe is a big part of the role, and we need someone who brings a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to every shift. You'll need a current White Card, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, and the physical fitness to handle manual labour across varying site conditions. If you know your way around a work site, follow direction well, and take safety seriously, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespersons with tasks including preparation, material handling, and clean-up
• Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times
• Move materials, tools, and equipment around site safely and efficiently
• Follow all site safety procedures, SWMS, and permit requirements
• Carry out general labouring duties as directed by the leading hand or supervisor
• Support the team with tool and equipment maintenance and storage
• Identify and report hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately
• Work in line with site rules, rosters, and expectations at all times

Requirements

• Current Construction Induction (White Card)(Essential)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen(Essential)
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour in varying site conditions(Essential)
