Procurement Excellence and Projects Lead​

About the Role

Evolution Mining is a leading gold producer operating six mines across Australia and Canada. The Group Office is based in Sydney CBD, where this role will collaborate with teams across both countries to shape the systems, processes and capabilities that support a modern, efficient and data-driven procurement function.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead Evolution's Procurement Centre of Excellence.
• Improve procurement data quality and establish a trusted single source of truth across spend and supplier, contract and sourcing information.
• Develop and embed procurement policies, standards, frameworks and governance processes.
• Drive procurement projects, transformation programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop procurement reporting, analytics and performance insights to support data-driven decision making.
• Lead procurement's technology, automation and AI roadmap to improve visibility, efficiency and decision-making.
• Enhance and embed sourcing, contracting and supplier governance frameworks.
• Build procurement capability through training, playbooks, knowledge resources and coaching.
• Establish procurement planning, category planning and governance processes that improve visibility, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead and develop a Procurement Analyst and Procurement Coordinator.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.(Essential)
• Experience developing analytics, reporting or business intelligence capability.(Essential)
• Exposure to systems implementation, digital enablement or process automation initiatives.
• Strong project leadership and change management capability.(Essential)
• A collaborative, practical and solutions-focused approach to achieving outcomes.
• Experience in mining, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy or another complex operating environment.
