Pick Packer
Reboot Australia
About the Role
If you don't mind the cold and you take pride in doing accurate, hands-on work, this one's for you. We're on the lookout for a reliable Pick Packer to join a busy meat processing and cold storage operation in Morningside. You'll be picking and packing meat products to customer orders, labelling and preparing goods for dispatch, and keeping your workstation clean and compliant with food safety standards, all while working efficiently in a chilled environment of around 2 to 4 degrees Celsius. This role is physical and fast-paced. You'll be on your feet for full shifts, handling repetitive manual tasks, conducting quality checks, and supporting stock rotation using FIFO principles. The team works to daily throughput targets, so a solid work ethic and the ability to stay focused in a cold environment are a must. Previous experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, or cold storage will put you ahead of the pack, and a current forklift licence (LF ticket) is a bonus, though not essential. To be considered, you'll need to be physically fit, willing to obtain a food handling or food safety certificate prior to starting if you don't already hold one, and able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. If you're a dependable team player who can handle the chill and hit the ground running, we'd love to hear from you.
