Experienced Guardrail Installers or Labourers with MR licence

About the Role

If you know your way around a guardrail installation and you're comfortable working on roads and infrastructure sites, this one's got your name on it. Our client is a well-established height safety and road safety systems business operating across Victoria, and they're looking for experienced guardrail installers or labourers who can hit the ground running in the Dandenong area. This is full-time work with a team that takes pride in doing the job properly and safely. You'll be out on site each day installing and maintaining guardrail systems, working alongside a solid crew on a variety of civil and road projects. The work is physical and hands-on, and you'll need to bring the right attitude alongside your experience. Having an MR licence is a must for this role, as you'll be involved in moving equipment and materials between sites as part of the day-to-day. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants consistent, full-time hours in a specialised field. Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain guardrail and road safety barrier systems to project specifications
• Operate and assist with medium rigid vehicles to transport equipment and materials between sites
• Follow site safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment at all times
• Prepare work areas including clearing, measuring and marking out installation points
• Use hand and power tools to cut, position and secure guardrail components
• Work alongside team members to lift and handle heavy materials and posts
• Assist with traffic management requirements and work safely near live traffic
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report any hazards or incidents to the supervisor

Requirements

• Valid Medium Rigid (MR) licence - this is a hard requirement for the role(Essential)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen(Essential)
• Physically fit and capable of performing heavy manual labour including lifting, digging and working in all weather conditions(Essential)
• Previous experience in guardrail installation, civil construction or road infrastructure works
• Traffic management experience or familiarity with working near live traffic is highly regarded
