The team runs a tight operation, processing and handling polymer materials across a well-organised warehouse environment. You'll be working alongside experienced operators and warehouse staff, so there's plenty to learn if you're keen to develop your skills in a manufacturing and logistics setting. Key Responsibilities
- Move, sort and stack polymer materials, raw goods and finished products throughout the warehouse
- Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries using manual handling and forklift equipment
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organised and free of hazards at all times
- Support production staff by ensuring materials are staged and ready for processing
- Conduct basic stock counts and assist with inventory management tasks
- Label, wrap and palletise finished goods ready for despatch
- Follow all site WHS policies, safe work procedures and chemical handling guidelines
- Report any equipment faults, near misses or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen(Essential)
- Current forklift licence (LF) is required to operate equipment on site(Essential)
- Physically fit and capable of sustained manual handling tasks throughout a full shift(Essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environment
- Familiarity with polymer, plastics or chemical handling environments is an advantage
- Strong attention to safety and a demonstrated commitment to following site procedures(Essential)
