Pallet Rack Installation Labourer

About the Role

If you love working with your hands and can see the satisfaction in building something solid from the ground up, this one's for you. We're placing experienced Pallet Rack Installers on a casual full-time basis at a busy warehousing and logistics operation in Kemps Creek, NSW. You'll be hands-on from day one, assembling and installing large-scale pallet racking systems in a fast-paced warehouse environment where your work directly shapes how the site functions. The team operates with a strong focus on safety and quality. You'll be working alongside other experienced installers and taking direction from a site supervisor to ensure racking is erected to manufacturer specifications and Australian standards. This is physical, practical work that rewards people who take pride in doing the job right the first time. To hit the ground running, you'll need proven experience installing pallet racking or structural steel systems, a solid understanding of safe work practices at heights, and the ability to read and interpret basic installation drawings. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and install pallet racking systems including uprights, beams and bracing components to manufacturer specifications
• Read and interpret installation drawings and job specifications on site
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly throughout the installation process
• Work at heights using elevated work platforms or ladders in accordance with WHS requirements
• Conduct pre-start checks and maintain a clean, safe work area at all times
• Communicate with the site supervisor and warehouse team to coordinate installation activities
• Identify and report any damaged components, structural concerns or safety hazards
• Assist with the unloading, sorting and staging of racking materials prior to installation

Requirements

• Proven experience installing pallet racking, shelving or structural steel systems in a commercial or warehouse environment(Essential)
• Ability to work safely at heights and hold or be willing to obtain a relevant EWP ticket(Essential)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen(Essential)
• Physically fit and capable of sustained manual handling, lifting and working in varying postures throughout the shift(Essential)
