Our client operates a busy retail operation in Cairns and is looking for enthusiastic entry-level team members to join their casual full-time crew. No two days are the same, and you'll get plenty of hands-on experience to build a solid foundation in retail. You'll be working alongside a supportive team in a fast-paced store environment, helping customers find what they need, keeping shelves stocked and the shop floor looking sharp. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, friendly, and keen to learn the ropes of retail from the ground up. Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process transactions accurately
• Restock shelves, displays and product stands as required
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe shop floor at all times
• Assist with stock receiving, unpacking and price labelling
• Support visual merchandising and product placement in line with store standards
• Handle customer enquiries and direct escalations to a supervisor when needed
• Follow store opening and closing procedures as rostered

Requirements

• Genuine enthusiasm for customer service and working with the public(Essential)
• Availability to work a rotating casual roster including weekends and public holidays(Essential)
• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to rostered shifts consistently(Essential)
• Basic numeracy skills and comfort handling cash or card transactions
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality or a customer-facing role
• Certificate II in Retail Services or willingness to work towards one
