Our client is a busy electrical contractor operating out of Port Melbourne, taking on a range of commercial and residential projects across the Melbourne metro area. The team is tight-knit, the work is varied, and there's plenty of it. As an A-Grade Electrician, you'll be getting involved in everything from new installations and fit-outs to maintenance and fault finding. You won't be stuck doing the same thing day in, day out. Our client keeps a solid pipeline of work running, so you can count on consistent hours and a decent variety of job types to keep things interesting. This is a full-time position based out of Port Melbourne, with travel to various sites around the metro area. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems across commercial and residential sites
• Read and interpret electrical plans, schematics and technical drawings
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostic work on existing electrical infrastructure
• Complete fit-outs including switchboard upgrades, lighting and power installations
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Australian wiring rules and relevant standards
• Complete documentation, test results and compliance certificates accurately and on time
• Liaise with site supervisors, other trades and clients in a professional manner
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment on all sites

Requirements

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)(Essential)
• Valid Australian driver's licence (car)(Essential)
• Current Electrical Worker's Licence registration with Energy Safe Victoria(Essential)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen(Essential)
• Experience across both commercial and residential electrical work
• EWP or Working at Heights ticket
