Plasterer Labourer

About the Role

We're looking for a hardworking labourer to join a busy plastering crew based in Geelong, supporting experienced tradespeople on a range of residential and commercial projects across the region. Day to day, you'll be on the tools - mixing compounds, prepping surfaces, moving materials, and keeping the site clean and organised so the plasterers can work efficiently. It's physical, hands-on work and no two days are exactly the same. This is a casual full-time role with consistent hours and the chance to learn from skilled tradespeople. Key Responsibilities

• Assist plasterers with the preparation and application of plasterboard and render
• Mix plaster compounds and materials to required specifications
• Load, unload, and transport materials around the site safely
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching as directed
• Set up and pack down tools and equipment at the start and end of each day
• Keep the work area clean, tidy, and free of hazards throughout the shift
• Assist with carrying and installing plasterboard sheets
• Follow all site safety procedures and directions from the leading hand

Requirements

• Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)(Essential)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen(Essential)
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour including heavy lifting(Essential)
• Reliable transport to and from job sites in the Geelong region(Essential)
• Previous experience in plastering, rendering, or general construction labouring
• Basic understanding of site safety practices and PPE requirements
