About the Role

If you love working outdoors and take real pride in transforming a space from bare earth into something beautiful, this one's for you. We're looking for an experienced Landscaper to join a busy landscaping operation based in Burswood, WA. Day to day, you'll be getting stuck into everything from planting trees, shrubs, and groundcovers through to soil preparation, mulching, weeding, pruning, and irrigation work. You'll operate a range of hand and power tools, keep the site clean and safe, and follow proper safe work practices throughout every shift. It's hands-on, physical work in an outdoor environment, and we need someone who genuinely thrives in that setting. To be considered, you'll need a current White Card, a valid Australian driver's licence (C class minimum), and solid previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance. A Certificate II or III in Horticulture is highly regarded. You'll also need to be physically fit, reliable, and ready to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. This is a casual role with the chance to work alongside a skilled, hardworking team on quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planting trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and other vegetation in line with project plans
  • Preparing and conditioning soil including spreading mulch, compost, and other organic materials
  • Operating hand tools and power tools including edgers, blowers, and hedge trimmers
  • Maintaining gardens and green spaces including weeding, pruning, and watering
  • Assisting with irrigation installation and basic system checks
  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment from vehicles and trailers
  • Keeping the work site clean, safe, and tidy throughout the day
  • Following safe work practices and site-specific induction requirements at all times

Requirements

  • Must hold a current White Card (Construction Induction Card)(Essential)
  • Must hold a current, valid Australian driver's licence (minimum C class)(Essential)
  • Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in an outdoor environment, including heavy lifting and working in varying weather conditions(Essential)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen(Essential)
  • Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance
  • Certificate II or III in Horticulture or a related qualification is highly regarded
