About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Landscaper to join our client's team based in Burswood, WA. This is a casual role within a deep green landscaping environment, meaning you'll be working on projects that prioritise sustainable, environmentally conscious landscaping practices. If you take pride in your work and enjoy being outdoors, this could be a great fit for you. You'll be joining a small, experienced crew delivering high-quality landscaping outcomes across a range of sites. The work is varied and physical, covering everything from planting and garden maintenance through to soil preparation, mulching, and general site upkeep. No two days are exactly the same, and we need someone who can hit the ground running. We are looking for someone who is punctual, takes direction well, and genuinely cares about the quality of their work. This role suits someone with solid hands-on experience in landscaping or horticulture who is comfortable working in all weather conditions and keeping up with the physical demands of the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Planting trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and other vegetation in line with project plans
• Preparing and conditioning soil including spreading mulch, compost, and other organic materials
• Operating hand tools and power tools including edgers, blowers, and hedge trimmers
• Maintaining gardens and green spaces including weeding, pruning, and watering
• Assisting with irrigation installation and basic system checks
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment from vehicles and trailers
• Keeping the work site clean, safe, and tidy throughout the day
• Following safe work practices and site-specific induction requirements at all times

Requirements

• Must hold a current White Card (Construction Induction Card)(Essential)
• Must hold a current, valid Australian driver's licence (minimum C class)(Essential)
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in an outdoor environment, including heavy lifting and working in varying weather conditions(Essential)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen(Essential)
• Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance
• Certificate II or III in Horticulture or a related qualification is highly regarded
