About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Labourer to join a busy Steel, Vinyl & Composite products manufacturing site based in Dandenong, VIC. This is a casual role with ongoing work available for the right person, and we need someone who shows up ready to work and takes pride in getting the job done properly. You will be working on the factory floor supporting production operations, handling materials, and keeping the site running smoothly. The work is physical and hands-on, so we need someone who is comfortable on their feet and can keep pace in a fast-moving environment. We are looking for someone who is punctual, takes direction well, and can work safely as part of a team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the handling, sorting, and movement of raw materials and finished products across the site
- Support production line operations including feeding materials and removing waste or offcuts
- Keep the factory floor clean, tidy, and free from hazards throughout the shift
- Operate basic machinery or equipment as directed by supervisors
- Load and unload deliveries and assist with stock movement using manual handling techniques
- Follow all site safety procedures, WHS policies, and PPE requirements at all times
- Report any equipment faults, hazards, or incidents to your supervisor immediately
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines
Requirements
- Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card)(Essential)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen(Essential)
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour including heavy lifting (up to 25kg) for extended periods(Essential)
- Reliable transport to reach the Dandenong site for early morning or rotating shifts(Essential)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial labour environment
- Current forklift licence (LF) — advantageous but not required
