About the Role

If you're the kind of person who takes pride in doing precise, physical work that actually shapes how people move through public spaces, keep reading. This casual role is perfect for a hands-on tradesperson or labourer with experience in bollard and tactile installation, or someone with solid concrete and civil skills who is ready to hit the ground running. You'll be working on-site across Melbourne, handling everything from core drilling and footing preparation to fixing bollards and laying stainless steel and polymer tactile indicators. The team works from site plans and specifications, so an eye for detail and the ability to follow documentation accurately is a must. You'll also be responsible for concrete cutting, drilling, patching, and keeping your work area clean and safe throughout. To be considered, you'll need a current White Card, a Working With Children Check, and reliable transport to get yourself to site. A strong work ethic goes without saying - this is a role for someone who shows up ready to work and takes quality seriously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of bollards (core drilling, footing preparation, fixing)
  • Installation of tactile indicators (stainless steel / polymer)
  • Reading and working from site plans and specifications
  • Use of hand tools, core drills, and small plant
  • Concrete cutting, drilling, and patching as required
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Adhering to all WHS and site safety requirements
